Frequently Asked Questions

What areas do you serve?

All Mountain Contracting serves clients throughout the Sea to Sky Corridor — including Whistler, Squamish, West Vancouver, and surrounding areas. We are based in Whistler, BC.

Are you a licensed contractor in BC?

Yes. All Mountain Contracting is a licensed home builder registered with BC Housing and a member of the Canadian Home Builders' Association (CHBA) Sea to Sky. We carry full liability insurance and WCB coverage.

What types of projects do you take on?

We handle custom home construction, residential renovations (kitchens, bathrooms, additions), commercial construction and tenant improvements, multi-unit residential builds, framing, forming, and finishing work.

How long does a home renovation take in Whistler?

Timeline varies by scope. A bathroom renovation typically takes 3–6 weeks; a full home renovation or addition 3–6 months; a custom new build 12–18 months. We provide detailed schedules during the quoting process.

Do I need permits for my renovation in Whistler or Squamish?

Most structural, electrical, plumbing, and major renovation work requires a permit in the Resort Municipality of Whistler and the District of Squamish. We manage the permitting process as part of our general contracting service.

How do I get a quote?

Contact us through our website or call 604-966-7979. We'll arrange a site visit and provide a detailed written quote with scope, timeline, and pricing.

What is the difference between a general contractor and a home builder?

A general contractor coordinates all trades and manages project delivery. A licensed home builder is specifically registered to construct new homes under BC Housing regulations. All Mountain Contracting holds both — we can manage complete builds as well as renovations and commercial projects.
